A well established SME involved in the retail industry and based in Windsor, Berkshire are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper. Reporting to the MD the main responsibilities of the Senior Bookkeeper is to provide management support to the MD and have responsibility for the complete finance function in this standalone role.
Key tasks of the Senior Bookkeeper include production of the monthly management accounts, VAT preparation, Bank Recs, matching purchase invoices and delivery notes, payment runs and a very limited time on credit control. You will also have responsibility for all general ledger accounting & controls ensuring that all balance sheet reconciliations have been performed and reviewed.
The ideal candidate will be content with a running a companies sets of books on SAGELine50 in a stand alone role, ideally have previous retail sector experience and be AAT qualified and in return will receive a salary of between £28k-£32k + free parking + pension + staff discount.
